As a creative and professional woman, I am setting out to support my fellow writers in their quest to put words onto the page. I believe that every writer’s journey starts with one step: writing words down. On a lap top, a journal, computer, or phone, you become a writer the moment you start stringing sentences together with intention.

It is my hope as an editor to be able to assist writers in their quest to bring their writing to its best version. Whether you plan to share your writing with the world or keep what you write to yourself, an editor can help you.

Copy Edit

Has your writing been refined and rewritten to the point of nearly being ready for publishing?

You may need a second set of eyes on your work.

Copy editing is my favourite type of editing to do. I will check your work for accuracy and consistency, review spelling and grammar, and correct errors. I love digging into a manuscript or article to refine what authors have written, bringing the pieces I work on to the best versions of themselves.

Are you ready for your writing to be seen by others, potentially agents or publishers?

I have experience reading and editing many different formats, including poetry, query letters, fiction and nonfiction.

In addition to the above, I provide grammar review, spell-checking and proofreading, and can work with you to refine the plot of your story, bring settings to life, and help ensure characters are relatable and unique.
